Eid-e-Milaad-un-Nabi Mubarak!

May the Rahmah (Mercy) and Barakah (Blessings) of this day increase the love and closeness to Allah (Glorifed, Exalted) and His and Our Beloved Messenger Sallallahu Alahi Wassalam. Ameen!

(A Poem about Milaad Shareef):

I Wonder...
If Prophet Muhammad  visited you Just for a day or two,
If He  came unexpectedly, I wonder what you'd do.
Oh, I know you'd give your nicest room, To such an honored guest,
And all the food you'd serve Him , Would be the very best,
And you would keep assuring Him , You're glad to have Him  there,

That serving Him  in you home, Is joy beyond compare.
But.....when you saw Him  coming, Would you meet Him  at the door, With arms outstreched in welcome, To your visitor?

Or....would you have to change your clothes Before you let Him  in?
Or hide some magazines and put, The Quran where they had been?

Would you still watch X-rated moives, On your T.V. set?
Or would you switch it off, before He gets upset?

Would you turn off the radio, And hope He  hadn't heard?
And wish you hadn't uttered the last loud hasty word?
Would you hide your worldy music, And instead take Hadith books out?

Could you let Him  walk right in, Or would you rush about?
And, I wonder.....if the Prophet  spent, A day or two with you,
Would you go right on doing the things, You always do?
Would you go right on saying the things You always say?

Would life for you continue, As it does from day to day?
Would your family conversating, Keep up its usual pace,

And Would you find it hard each meal, To say a table grace?
Would you keep up each and every prayer? Without putting on a frown?

And would you always jump up early, For prayer at dawn?
Would you sing the songs you always sing, And read the books you read?

And let Him  know the things on which, Your mind and spirit feed?
Would you take Prophet  with you, Everywhere you plan to go?

Or, would you maybe change your plans, Just for a day or so?
Would you be glad to have Him  meet, Your very closest friends?

Or, would you hope they stay away, Until His  visit ends?
Would you be glad to have Him  stay, Forever on and on?

Or would you sigh with great relief, When He  at last was gone?
It might be interesting to know, The things that you would do.

If Prophet Muhammad , in person, came, to spend some time with you.

Indeed! Allah and His Angels send their blessings upon the Prophet, O Believers! Send Blessings upon him and salute him with a worthy salutation

The Holy Blessed Qur'an Surah: Al Ahzab (33:56)

Islamic Month: Rabi-ul-Awwal

8th        Arrival at Quba
12th      Arrivial at Madinah-tul-Munawwarah (Yathrib)
12th      Birth of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam

Qur'anic Ayat (Verse) of the Day:

قل إن كنتم تحبون الله فاتبعونى يُحببكم الله و يغفر لكم ذنوبكم و الله غفور رحيم
“Say (O’ Rasulullah): If you love Allah, then follow me. Allah will love you and forgive your sins; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (3:31)

Wisdom of the Day:
The achievements of the Sahabah (Companions) in their time was the result of their love for Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and His Rasool Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam. Love was a great dynamic force in the lives of the early Muslims. It was this force that made them forego their luxuries, not care for their lives, give up their desire for wealth, ignore all afflictions, and have no fear of even death . There is no room for any other consideration except that of the beloved in the heart saturated with love. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, through His mercy, grant us His own love and that of His Beloved Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam, so that we may be blessed with devotion in His worship and have a sense of comfort in all difficulties faced in His service.
(Miftah-ul-Jannah)

Durood / Salawaat of the Day:

O Sustainer, shower Salaat and Salaam forever and ever upon your beloved who is the best of all creation

Hazrat Abu Hurairah R. A. reports: "The person who recites this eighty times on Friday after Asr Salaah, before standing up from his place, eighty years of his sins forgiven by Allah, and eighty years of worship be written for him

Khatim-un-Nabiyeen (Seal of Prophethood) Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam:
The First Creation of Allah (Glorified, Exalted)
Hadhrat Jabbar bin Abduallal Ansari (R.A) Narrated:
I requested to the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) what did Allah Ta’alaa create First (before anything, the first creation) Answer: Oh Jabbar, at the beginning, Allah created the Nur of your Prophet – (i.e. Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) out of His Noor (i.e. Allah Ta’alaa). There was no Slate, no Pen, no Hell, no Heaven, no Angels, no Sky, no Earth, no Sun, no Moon, no Jinns or Humans

That this light was physical as well as spiritual was borne witness to most amply by those who saw him. The Lady ‘Ā’isha related how she saw the whole room fill with light one night, then it disappeared, while the Prophet continued to call upon his Lord."

(O' Members of the Messenger's Family) Allah's wish is but to remove impurities (of the body and spirit-heart) from you and cleanse you with thorough cleansing." (Holy Qur'an, Surah Al-Ahzab)

"Amongst you my family is like Noah's ark and whosoever boards it, he shall be saved and whosoever remains, he shall be killed."
[Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal]

[A time to celebrate Every Moment and Second - Its Permissible Its Necessity Its Reality]
"...Celebrating the Prophet's birthday means celebrating the birth of Islam..."
As-Sunnah
As the followers of Muhammad e is it not appropriate for us to say, "We have more right on commemorating Muhammad e than any other nations in commemorating their prophet?" Yes, and let us praise Allah I on that day and rejoice in His mercy as He ordered, "Of the favor and the mercy of Allah let them rejoice." [10: 58] This order came because joy makes the heart grateful for Allah’s I mercy. What greater mercy did Allah I grant to mankind than the Holy Prophet e himself, about which He I says, "We did not send you except as a mercy to human beings?" [21: 107 ]

When Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalm disclosed that he was taken by Allah's wish to Jerusalem one night ('Isra') and then to Heaven (Mi'raj) in His presence, most of the people of Makkah did not believe him. Some enemies of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam had even started to say, "Muhammad has gone crazy. He has started to make up stories that he has gone overnight to Jerusalem and then from there to Heaven to meet God Himself. Hoy can anyone believe this?"

When Abu Bakr Radhy Allahu Anhu came to know about this, he said "If Muhammad says so, I believe it." This disappointed the nonbelievers greatly, but it increased Aby Bakr's  honour in the sight of Allah and Rasulullah Sallallahu Alahi Wassalam tremendously. This unreserved truest of Abu Bakr Radhy Allahu Anhu in this mission of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalm earned him the beautiful title As-Saddiq or "The Truthful One".

Imam Malik:
" Whoever studied Tasawwuf without Fiqh is a heretic, and whoever studied Fiqh without Tasawwuf is corrupted, and whoever studied Tasawwuf and Fiqh will find the Truth and Reality of Islam."
Imam Shafi:
I accompanied the Sufis and received from them but three words: their statement that time is a sword: if you do not cut it, it cuts you; their statement that if you do not keep your ego busy with truth it will keep you busy with falsehood; their statement that deprivation is immunity.
Three things in this world have been made lovely to me: avoiding affectation, treating people kindly, and following the way of Tasawwuf
Hujjat-al-Islam (The Proof of Islam) Imam Ghazalli:
he Sufi path consists in cleansing the heart from whatever is other than Allah... I concluded that the Sufis are the seekers in Allah's Way, and their conduct is the best conduct, and their way is the best way, and their manners are the most sanctified. They have cleaned their hearts from other than Allah and they have made them as pathways for rivers to run, carrying knowledge of Allah.
Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jillani:
al-Ghunya li talibi tariq al-haqq (Sufficient provision for seekers of the path of truth); it is one of the most concise presentations of the madhhab of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal ever written, including the sound teaching of Ahl al-Sunna on `aqida and tasawwuf

Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam Said:
My Companions are like guiding stars; whomever you follow, you will be rightly guided.
About Abu Bakr (Radhy Allahu Anhu)
Never had I presented Islam to any one who had not stumbled (reluctant at first); except Abu Bakr, he did not hesitate.
About Umar (Radhy Allahu Anhu)
Verily Allah has placed the truth on the tongue of Umar and in his heart. I have never seen a genius who is as decisive as he is (in regard to truth).
About Uthman (Radhy Allahu Anhu)
O Allah! Be satisfied with Uthman for I am satisfied with him.
About Ali (Radhy Allahu Anhu)
Whoever has me as his friend and protector, also has Ali as his friend and protector.

Hazrat Abdullah Radiyallahu-Anhu was married to his cousin Bibi Aaminah Radiyallahu-Anha, the daughter of his uncle Wahb bin Abdul Manaf. The very night of their marriage , the 'Noor-e-Muhammadi' went from the forehead of Hazrat Abdullah , into the forehead of Bibi Aaminah. Shortly after that, Hazrat Abdullah left for Yathrib but did not return as he passed away on the return journey. An expectant Bibi Aaminah Radiyallahu-Anha informed the members of the household that she was often being visited by angels and the previous prophets who announced that the child that she was bearing was Hazrat Muhammad, the Promised Prophet, through whom the world would be blessed.

Bibi Aaminah  stated that as soon as the labour pains of child-birth started an angel came and asked her to drink from a cup in his hand. This drink was whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. As soon as she drank this heavenly drink, her pain disappeared and all fear left her. She then saw the gates of Heaven open. The angels came down for the adoration of the new babe. Three angels went towards the Kaabah. One angel stayed over the Kaabah, one went to the East and the other towards the West. A light then spread out lighting up the universe. In this miraculous light, Bibi Aaminah Radiyallahu-Anha could see distinctly the palaces of Palestine and Syria.

Then three unknown ladies appeared miraculously before Bibi Aaminah Radiyallahu-Anha to attend to the delivery of the child. The first, said she was Bibi Hajira, the mother of Hazrat Isma'eel. The second was Bibi Maryam, the mother of Hazrat Isa Alaihis Salaam. The third was Queen Asiya, the wife of the Pharoah, who raised Hazrat Musa Alaihis-Salaam.

Immediately after birth, the baby Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam prostrated to Allah and recited in a clear voice with his index finger of the right hand raised, and said the following words:" I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah. I am Muhammad, the messenger of Allah. O Sustainer of the Universe bless me and those who follow me." At once Allah spoke to His beloved and replied: I have blessed you and those who follow you. O Angels, be ye witness of the fact that when he has not forgotten his followers upon his birth, then how can he forget them on the Day of Judgement." After the adoration of Allah and giving evidence of His Oneness, the baby picked up a handful of earth in his tiny fist. When this incident was related to Abu Lahab, he foretold that one day this child would become the ruler of this world.

Abdul Muttalib, the grandfather of the Holy Prophet Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam, and some other Makkans were at the Kaabah at this early hour before dawn. All of a sudden they were surprised to see the walls of the Kaabah bow miraculously before Maqam-e-Ibrahim. Then , miraculously, the Kaabah spoke (translation from the Arabic) : Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. He is the sustainer of Muhammad, who will purify the Kaabah from idols and idolatory and restore it to (its honoured position of) the house of Allah."

Abdul Muttalib hearing the walls of the Kaabah talk and seeing all the idols fall, ran home to verify if his daughter-in-law had given birth. He did not find the Noor-e-Muhammadi shining from the forehead of Bibi Aaminah Radiyallahu-Anha. He thus knew that the child was already born, so he asked her to show him his grandchild. Bibi Aaminah Radiyallahu-Anha replied that he was in the next room but nobody could see him for three days, as the angels and the dwellers of heaven were paying homage to the child. Abdul Muttalib tried to force his way into that room, but he was confronted by an angel who told the grandfather that he could not see the child until the spiritual dwellers of heaven had completed their adoration.

There were a number of people at the Kaabah at the time of the birth of Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam, when all the idols fell prostrate. They picked up and erected the fallen idols, but the idols fell down again on their faces. They propped them up again but the idols collapsed for a third time. These idols remained prostrate on the floor for a full twenty-four hours. No amount of effort to refit them throughout the world were successful. It was only on the next day that they were refitted. This was witnessed by thousands , not only at Mecca but all over the world.

After three days, Abdul Muttalib took his grandchild to the Kaabah and named him Muhammad. As soon as this child was taken to the Kaabah for the naming ceremony ,the four corners of the walls of the Kaabah declared:" There is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the seal of Prophethood."

Incidents in Persia:
At the date and time of birth of the Holy Prohet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam the following miracles took place:

  1. The fire in the Magi temple of the Zoroastrians which had been alight for thousands of years, became quenched for the first time in recorded history. It had always burned ever since it was lit in the days of King Nimrod.
  2. Fourteen towers of the Royal palace of Nausherwan, the Emperor of Persia, broke and fell.
  3. The famous stone on which the fabulous throne of Persia was kept, cracked.
  4. The deep and fast flowing river Sawa in the Persian Empire dried up instantly.
  5. The river Samawa in the Persian Empire which had been dry for the past thousand years or more, started flowing immediately.
  6. Emperor Nausherwan had a dream that very night in which he saw Arabian camels drag away the Iranian horses across the Tigris and spread themselves throughout Persia.

Incidents in Rome:
The Roman emperor Justin II was frightened and alarmed on the day of the birth of Hazrat Muhammad Salallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam. When he went into the Royal Chapel to pray on that morning he was very surprised to find that the beautiful statue of Jesus Christ had very strangely come out of its firm base and was lying on the ground. It reminded him of the foretellings of Jesus that on the date of birth of the Promised Prophet, all idols all over the world would fall down. As he lifted up the idol of Christ it spoke and again fell on its face on the floor and declared:

  1. A child has been born with his foreskin circumcised miraculously.
  2. This child will be the greatest personage to come on earth and he will be from amongst the circumcised people.
  3. This baby is not from a Jewish family but from the brethren of the Jews.
  4. He will be a destroyer of idols and lay the foundation for the destruction of idolatry.
  5. Those who will not listen to his teachings would be losers in this world and in the hereafter.
  6. He will be the light of learning, which will be the cause of filling the earth with wisdom and knowledge and removing the darkness of ignorance.
